Pork Tapeworm
The Pork Tapeworm, scientifically known as *Taenia solium*, is a parasitic worm that can infect humans through the consumption of undercooked pork containing its larvae. Once ingested, the larvae develop into adult tapeworms in the intestines, where they can grow several meters long and reproduce, leading to potential health issues.
In addition to intestinal infections, the Pork Tapeworm can cause a serious condition called cysticercosis if its eggs are ingested. This occurs when contaminated food or water is consumed, leading to the formation of cysts in various tissues, including the brain, which can result in seizures and other neurological problems.
