Population Standard Deviation
Population Standard Deviation is a statistical measure that quantifies the amount of variation or dispersion in a set of values. It indicates how much individual data points in a population differ from the population mean. A low standard deviation means that the data points are close to the mean, while a high standard deviation indicates that they are spread out over a wider range of values.
To calculate the population standard deviation, you first find the mean of the data set. Then, you subtract the mean from each data point, square the result, and average those squared differences. Finally, you take the square root of that average to obtain the standard deviation.
