Poppy Gum
Poppy Gum is a type of eucalyptus tree known scientifically as Eucalyptus deglupta. It is native to the tropical regions of the Philippines, Indonesia, and Papua New Guinea. The tree is recognized for its striking, multicolored bark that peels away in strips, revealing a smooth, bright green surface underneath. Over time, this bark matures to display shades of blue, purple, orange, and maroon.
The leaves of the Poppy Gum are lance-shaped and can grow up to 15 centimeters long. This tree can reach heights of up to 30 meters and is often used for ornamental purposes in gardens and parks due to its unique appearance.
