Pope Evaristus
Pope Evaristus was the fifth pope of the early Christian Church, serving from around 99 to 107 AD. He is recognized as a successor to Pope Clement I and is believed to have been a Greek by birth. Evaristus is often credited with organizing the Church's structure and establishing various roles within the clergy.
His papacy occurred during a time of growth for Christianity, as it spread throughout the Roman Empire. Although not much is known about his life or specific contributions, he is venerated as a saint in both the Roman Catholic Church and the Eastern Orthodox Church.
