Point Spread
The point spread is a betting term used in sports, particularly in games like football and basketball. It represents the number of points by which a favored team is expected to win. For example, if Team A has a point spread of -7, they must win by more than 7 points for a bet on them to be successful.
Conversely, the underdog team, Team B, has a point spread of +7. This means that if Team B loses by less than 7 points or wins the game, bets on them will win. The point spread aims to create a more balanced betting environment.
