Moneyline
A "Moneyline" is a type of betting line used in sports wagering that indicates the odds of a particular team or player winning a game or match. Unlike point spreads, which require a team to win by a certain number of points, the Moneyline simply shows how much a bettor can win based on their stake. Positive odds indicate an underdog, while negative odds indicate a favorite.
For example, if a team has a Moneyline of +150, a $100 bet would yield a $150 profit if they win. Conversely, a team with a Moneyline of -200 means a bettor must wager $200 to win $100. This straightforward format makes it easy for bettors to understand potential payouts.
