Plutchik's Wheel
Plutchik's Wheel is a visual model created by psychologist Robert Plutchik to illustrate the eight primary emotions: joy, trust, fear, surprise, sadness, disgust, anger, and anticipation. These emotions are arranged in a circular format, showing how they can blend to form more complex feelings. For example, joy and trust combine to create love.
The wheel also highlights the intensity of emotions, with each primary emotion having varying degrees, from mild to strong. This model helps in understanding emotional responses and can be useful in fields like psychology, therapy, and emotional intelligence training.
