Pisa Baptistery
The Pisa Baptistery is a large religious building located in Pisa, Italy, adjacent to the famous Leaning Tower of Pisa. Constructed between 1152 and 1363, it is the largest baptistery in Italy and showcases a blend of Romanesque and Gothic architectural styles. The structure is notable for its circular shape and impressive dome, which is topped with a lantern.
Inside, the baptistery features a beautifully carved pulpit by Niccolò Pisano and an acoustically remarkable interior. The building is part of the Piazza dei Miracoli, a UNESCO World Heritage site that also includes the Pisa Cathedral and the Leaning Tower.
