Piegan
The term "Piegan" refers to a group of Native American tribes, primarily associated with the Blackfoot Confederacy. The Piegan people traditionally inhabited areas in present-day Montana and Canada. They are known for their rich cultural heritage, including their language, customs, and social structures.
The Piegan tribe is divided into several bands, with the Southern Piegan being one of the most recognized. Historically, they were nomadic buffalo hunters, relying on the vast plains for sustenance. Today, many Piegan people continue to preserve their traditions while also engaging in modern society.
