Picentini Mountains
The Picentini Mountains are a mountain range located in southern Italy, primarily within the province of Salerno. They are part of the larger Southern Apennines and are known for their rugged terrain, deep valleys, and diverse flora and fauna. The highest peak, Monte Polveracchio, reaches an elevation of 1,809 meters (5,933 feet), making it a popular destination for hikers and nature enthusiasts.
