Physical Sensation
Physical sensation refers to the experience of stimuli through the body's sensory systems. This includes the five primary senses: sight, hearing, taste, smell, and touch. Each sense detects specific types of stimuli, such as light waves for sight or sound waves for hearing, allowing individuals to perceive their environment.
The process of physical sensation begins when sensory receptors in the body detect stimuli and convert them into electrical signals. These signals are then transmitted to the brain, where they are interpreted, leading to the conscious experience of sensations like warmth, pressure, or pain.
