Petr Korda
Petr Korda is a former professional tennis player from the Czech Republic, born on May 23, 1968. He turned professional in 1987 and achieved significant success in the 1990s, including winning the 1998 Australian Open. Korda was known for his powerful serve and strong baseline play, which helped him reach a career-high ATP singles ranking of World No. 2.
In addition to his singles success, Korda also excelled in doubles, winning several titles throughout his career. After retiring from professional tennis in 2005, he transitioned to coaching and has been involved in various tennis-related activities. Korda is also the father of rising tennis star Sebastian Korda.
