Ivan Lendl is a former professional tennis player from the Czech Republic, known for his powerful baseline game and exceptional fitness. He was born on March 7, 1960, and became one of the top players in the world during the 1980s and early 1990s. Lendl won a total of 8 Grand Slam singles titles, including three French Open titles and three US Open titles.
Lendl was ranked world No. 1 for a total of 270 weeks, making him one of the longest-reigning top players in tennis history.
