Peter II Of Yugoslavia
Peter II of Yugoslavia was born on September 6, 1923, and became the last king of Yugoslavia at a young age after his father, King Alexander I, was assassinated in 1934. He was only 11 years old when he ascended to the throne, and his reign was marked by political instability and the rise of fascism in Europe.
During World War II, Peter II fled to London, where he led the Yugoslav government-in-exile. After the war, the monarchy was abolished in 1945, and he lived in exile for many years. He returned to Yugoslavia briefly in 1970 before passing away on November 3, 1970.
