Peter I of Yugoslavia
Peter I of Yugoslavia was the king of the Kingdom of Serbs, Croats, and Slovenes, later known as Yugoslavia, from 1918 until his death in 1921. He was born on June 11, 1844, and was a member of the House of Karađorđević. Peter I is remembered for his efforts to unify the diverse ethnic groups within his kingdom and for promoting democratic reforms.
