Perugino
Perugino was an Italian painter of the Renaissance, born around 1446 in Città della Pieve, Umbria. He is best known for his serene and harmonious compositions, often featuring religious themes. His style is characterized by soft colors, delicate figures, and a focus on perspective, which influenced many artists of his time.
One of his most famous works is the frescoes in the Sistine Chapel, which he completed in the late 15th century. Perugino was also a mentor to the renowned artist Raphael, helping to shape the next generation of Renaissance art. His contributions to painting are celebrated for their beauty and technical skill.
