Persian Americans
Persian Americans are individuals of Iranian descent who have settled in the United States. They often trace their roots to the Persian Empire and its rich cultural heritage, which includes contributions to art, literature, and science. Many Persian Americans immigrated during the Iranian Revolution in 1979, seeking better opportunities and safety.
The Persian American community is diverse, with members practicing various religions, including Islam, Zoroastrianism, and Christianity. They have made significant contributions to American society in fields such as business, academia, and the arts, while also maintaining their cultural traditions through festivals like Nowruz, the Persian New Year.
