Permyak language
The Permyak language is a Uralic language spoken by the Permyak people in the Perm Krai region of Russia. It belongs to the Finno-Ugric group, which also includes languages like Finnish and Hungarian. The language has several dialects and is closely related to the Komi language, sharing many linguistic features.
Although the number of speakers has declined, efforts are being made to preserve and revitalize the language. Educational programs and cultural initiatives aim to promote the use of Permyak among younger generations, ensuring that this unique aspect of the Permyak heritage continues to thrive.
