People's National Party
The People's National Party (PNP) is a political party in Jamaica, founded in 1938. It is one of the two major political parties in the country, alongside the Jamaica Labour Party (JLP). The PNP traditionally supports social democracy and has a history of advocating for policies aimed at improving the welfare of the Jamaican people.
The party's symbol is the palm tree, and its colors are green, yellow, and black. Over the years, the PNP has been led by several prominent figures, including former Prime Minister Michael Manley. The party has played a significant role in shaping Jamaica's political landscape and continues to influence national policies.
