Pennsylvania Senate
The Pennsylvania Senate is the upper chamber of the Pennsylvania General Assembly, which is the state's legislative body. It consists of 50 members, each representing a specific district within Pennsylvania. Senators serve four-year terms and are responsible for creating and voting on state laws, as well as approving the state budget.
The Senate works alongside the Pennsylvania House of Representatives, the lower chamber of the General Assembly. Together, they address various issues, including education, healthcare, and infrastructure. The Senate also plays a role in confirming appointments made by the Governor of Pennsylvania and ratifying amendments to the state constitution.
