Pedro Sánchez is a Spanish politician who has served as the Prime Minister of Spain since June 2018. He is the leader of the Spanish Socialist Workers' Party (PSOE) and has been a member of the Spanish Parliament since 2009. Sánchez became the first Prime Minister in Spain to be elected through a no-confidence vote, which he won against the previous government. Sánchez was born on February 29, 1972, in Madrid. He studied economics and business studies at the Complutense University of Madrid and later earned a Ph.D. in economics. Throughout his political career, he has focused on issues such as social justice, climate change, and economic recovery.
