Pedal-Assist
Pedal-assist is a feature found in many electric bicycles, or e-bikes, that provides additional power to the rider while pedaling. This system uses a battery-powered motor to amplify the rider's effort, making it easier to climb hills or travel longer distances without excessive fatigue. The level of assistance can often be adjusted, allowing riders to choose how much help they want.
When a rider pedals, sensors detect the effort and speed, prompting the motor to engage and provide support. This technology encourages a more active cycling experience, promoting fitness while still benefiting from the convenience of electric power.
