Pauline Marois
Pauline Marois is a Canadian politician who served as the 30th Premier of Quebec from September 2012 to April 2014. She is a member of the Parti Québécois, a political party that advocates for Quebec's independence from Canada. Marois was the first woman to hold the position of Premier in Quebec.
Before becoming Premier, Marois held various cabinet positions, including Minister of Education and Minister of Health. She has been a prominent figure in Quebec politics since the 1980s and has focused on issues such as language, culture, and social justice throughout her career.
