Patagotitan
Patagotitan is a genus of giant sauropod dinosaur that lived during the Late Cretaceous period, around 100 million years ago. Discovered in Argentina, it is one of the largest known land animals, estimated to reach lengths of up to 122 feet (37 meters) and weigh around 70 tons.
This massive dinosaur belonged to a group called Titanosauria, characterized by their long necks and tails. Fossils of Patagotitan were first unearthed in 2014, and its size and unique features have provided valuable insights into the diversity of dinosaurs during the Cretaceous era.
