Parmigianino
Parmigianino was an Italian painter and printmaker of the Mannerist style, born in 1503 in Parma. His real name was Girolamo Francesco Maria Mazzola. He is best known for his elongated figures and elegant compositions, which reflect a departure from the balanced proportions of the Renaissance.
One of his most famous works is the painting titled Madonna with the Long Neck, which showcases his distinctive style. Parmigianino's influence extended beyond his lifetime, impacting later artists and contributing to the development of Mannerism in the 16th century. He died in 1540 at a young age, leaving behind a significant artistic legacy.
