Parlamento de Canarias
The Parlamento de Canarias is the legislative body of the Canary Islands, an autonomous community of Spain. It is responsible for creating laws, approving budgets, and overseeing the regional government. The parliament consists of 70 members, elected every four years, who represent the various political parties in the islands.
The Parlamento de Canarias meets in Santa Cruz de Tenerife and Las Palmas de Gran Canaria, the two capitals of the Canary Islands. Its main functions include debating and voting on legislation, as well as discussing issues that affect the islands and their residents.
