Paramara Dynasty
The Paramara Dynasty was a prominent ruling family in central India, particularly in the region of Malwa, during the medieval period. They are best known for their contributions to art, architecture, and literature, flourishing between the 9th and 14th centuries. The dynasty's capital was Dhara, which became a cultural and political center under their rule.
One of the most notable rulers of the Paramara Dynasty was Raja Bhoja, who reigned in the 11th century. He was a patron of the arts and is credited with significant literary works, including the Saraswati Kanthabharana. The dynasty eventually declined due to invasions and internal strife, leading to its fall by the late 14th century.
