Parachutist
A parachutist is a person who jumps from an aircraft and descends to the ground using a parachute. This activity is often done for recreation, sport, or military purposes. Parachutists undergo training to learn how to safely exit the aircraft, control their descent, and land properly.
Parachuting can be performed in various styles, including skydiving, where individuals free-fall before deploying their parachute, and static line jumping, where the parachute opens automatically after exiting the aircraft. Safety equipment, such as helmets and reserve parachutes, is essential to minimize risks during the jump.
