Pan-African Parliament
The Pan-African Parliament (PAP) is an institution of the African Union (AU) established to promote unity and cooperation among African nations. It aims to provide a platform for African representatives to discuss and address issues affecting the continent, such as governance, human rights, and economic development. The PAP is based in Midrand, South Africa, and consists of members elected from the national parliaments of AU member states.
The Parliament's primary role is to facilitate dialogue and foster collaboration among African countries. It also works to enhance the participation of African citizens in governance and decision-making processes. By promoting democratic values and human rights, the PAP seeks to contribute to the overall development and stability of the African continent.
