Palm Islands
The Palm Islands are a group of artificial islands located in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. They are designed in the shape of palm trees and include three main islands: Palm Jumeirah, Palm Jebel Ali, and Palm Deira. The islands are known for their luxury resorts, residential areas, and recreational facilities, making them popular tourist destinations.
Construction of the Palm Islands began in the late 1990s, using land reclamation techniques to create the unique shapes. Palm Jumeirah is the most developed and famous of the three, featuring a monorail and numerous high-end hotels, including the iconic Atlantis, The Palm.
