Pakistan Medical Commission
The Pakistan Medical Commission (PMC) is the regulatory body responsible for overseeing medical education and practice in Pakistan. Established in 2020, it aims to ensure that medical professionals meet the required standards of education and training. The PMC also manages the licensing process for medical graduates, ensuring they are qualified to practice medicine in the country.
In addition to regulating medical schools, the PMC conducts the National Licensing Examination (NLE) for graduates seeking to become licensed practitioners. The commission plays a crucial role in maintaining the quality of healthcare services and protecting public health in Pakistan.
