Paired T-Test
A Paired T-Test is a statistical method used to compare the means of two related groups. It helps determine if there is a significant difference between the two sets of data, often collected from the same subjects before and after a treatment or intervention. This test accounts for the natural pairing of the data, making it more powerful than an independent T-Test in such scenarios.
To perform a Paired T-Test, researchers calculate the differences between each pair of observations and then analyze these differences. The test produces a T-statistic and a p-value, which indicate whether the observed differences are statistically significant, helping to draw conclusions about the effect of the treatment or condition being studied.
