Independent T-Test
The Independent T-Test is a statistical method used to compare the means of two separate groups to determine if there is a significant difference between them. It is commonly applied in research to analyze data from experiments or surveys where participants are divided into two distinct categories, such as treatment and control groups.
This test assumes that the data from both groups are normally distributed and have similar variances. If these conditions are met, the Independent T-Test can provide insights into whether the observed differences in group means are likely due to chance or represent a true effect.
