Page Numbering
Page numbering is the process of assigning numbers to the pages of a document, book, or report. This helps readers easily navigate through the content and locate specific sections. Page numbers can appear in various formats, such as Arabic numerals (1, 2, 3) or Roman numerals (I, II, III), depending on the style of the publication.
In most cases, page numbering starts on the first page of the document, but it may be omitted on title pages or introductory sections. Different sections may also use different numbering styles, such as using Roman numerals for preliminary pages and Arabic numerals for the main content.
