Oxide Compounds
Oxide compounds are chemical substances formed when oxygen combines with another element. They can be found in various forms, such as metals, nonmetals, and metalloids. Oxides can be classified into two main categories: basic oxides, which react with acids, and acidic oxides, which react with bases.
