Owls Head Lighthouse
Owls Head Lighthouse is located in Owls Head, Maine, overlooking the entrance to Rockland Harbor. Built in 1825, it stands 87 feet tall and features a distinctive white tower with a black lantern. The lighthouse was automated in 1975 and is now maintained by the U.S. Coast Guard.
