Overseas Koreans
Overseas Koreans, known as Korean diaspora, refer to individuals of Korean descent who live outside of South Korea and North Korea. This group includes both immigrants and their descendants, who have settled in various countries around the world, particularly in the United States, China, and Japan.
The term encompasses a diverse range of experiences and identities, as overseas Koreans may maintain cultural ties to their heritage while also integrating into their host societies. Many participate in Korean cultural organizations and celebrate traditional festivals, helping to preserve their unique cultural identity abroad.
