Ouyang Xun
Ouyang Xun was a prominent Chinese calligrapher and politician during the Tang Dynasty, born in 1007 and passing away in 1072. He is best known for his mastery of the regular script, which is a standardized form of Chinese writing. His work is characterized by its clarity and elegance, influencing many later calligraphers.
In addition to his calligraphy, Ouyang Xun held various government positions, contributing to the administration of the Song Dynasty. His writings and political ideas were respected, and he is often regarded as one of the "Four Masters of Calligraphy" in Chinese history, alongside Wang Xizhi, Yan Zhenqing, and Li Bai.
