Our Lady of Montserrat
Our Lady of Montserrat, also known as La Moreneta, is a revered statue of the Virgin Mary located in the Montserrat Monastery in Catalonia, Spain. This statue, carved from wood, depicts the Virgin holding the infant Jesus and is notable for its dark complexion, which has led to the nickname "the Black Madonna."
