Ouchi Gari
Ouchi Gari is a judo technique classified as a throw. It involves sweeping one of the opponent's legs out from under them while simultaneously pushing them backward. This technique is effective when the opponent is off-balance or moving forward, allowing the judoka to execute the throw with minimal effort.
To perform Ouchi Gari, the judoka steps in close to their opponent, typically using their dominant foot to hook the opponent's leg. The judoka then pulls the opponent's upper body forward while driving their foot backward, resulting in a clean throw. This technique is commonly taught to beginners in judo classes.
