Otto Noddack
Otto Noddack was a German chemist and physicist born on February 27, 1892. He is best known for his work in the field of nuclear chemistry and for co-discovering the element rhenium in 1925. Noddack's research contributed significantly to the understanding of the periodic table and the properties of heavy elements.
In addition to his work on rhenium, Noddack is noted for his controversial hypothesis regarding the existence of element 93, which he proposed in 1934. His ideas were initially overlooked but later gained recognition as the field of nuclear science advanced. Noddack's contributions have had a lasting impact on chemistry and physics.
