Otidiformes
Otidiformes is an order of birds that includes the family Otididae, commonly known as bustards. These birds are primarily found in open grasslands and savannas across Europe, Asia, and Africa. Bustards are known for their large size, long legs, and distinctive mating displays, where males often perform elaborate dances to attract females.
Bustards are generally ground-dwelling birds that feed on a diet of seeds, insects, and small animals. They are characterized by their strong flight capabilities, although they prefer to run when threatened. Due to habitat loss and hunting, some species within this order are considered vulnerable or endangered.
