Oseberg Ship Burial
The Oseberg Ship Burial is an archaeological site located in Norway, dating back to the early 9th century. Discovered in 1904, it features a well-preserved Viking ship, which was used to transport two high-status women to the afterlife. The burial site also contained various grave goods, including tools, textiles, and ceremonial items, reflecting the wealth and status of the individuals buried.
