Oscar Schmidt
Oscar Schmidt is a retired Brazilian basketball player, widely regarded as one of the greatest scorers in the history of the sport. Born on February 16, 1958, in São Paulo, he played for the Brazilian national team and had a successful career in various international competitions, including the FIBA World Cup and the Olympics.
Standing at 6 feet 9 inches tall, Schmidt was known for his exceptional shooting ability and versatility on the court. He played professionally for several clubs, including Caserta in Italy and Pallacanestro Virtus Roma, and was inducted into the Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame in 2019.
