Nene Hilario, commonly known as Nene, is a retired professional basketball player from Brazil. He was born on May 13, 1982, in São Carlos, Brazil. Nene played as a center and power forward in the NBA for several teams, including the Denver Nuggets and the Washington Wizards. He is known for his strong physical presence and versatility on the court. Throughout his career, Nene was recognized for his skills in scoring, rebounding, and defense. He was selected as the seventh overall pick in the 2002 NBA Draft by the New York Knicks but was traded to the Nuggets shortly after.
