Osama bin Laden
Osama bin Laden was a Saudi Arabian terrorist and the founder of the militant group al-Qaeda. He was born in 1957 and became known for his role in organizing and carrying out attacks against the United States and its allies, most notably the September 11, 2001 attacks, which resulted in the deaths of nearly 3,000 people.
After the attacks, bin Laden became one of the most wanted fugitives in the world. He evaded capture for nearly a decade before being located and killed by U.S. Navy SEALs in Pakistan in 2011. His actions and ideology have had a lasting impact on global security and counterterrorism efforts.
