Organization of Islamic Cooperation
The Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) is an international organization founded in 1969, consisting of 57 member states. Its primary goal is to promote cooperation among Muslim countries in various fields, including political, economic, social, and cultural issues. The OIC also aims to protect the interests of the Muslim world and uphold Islamic values.
The OIC serves as a platform for member states to discuss and coordinate their positions on global issues affecting Muslims, such as conflicts, humanitarian crises, and economic development. It also works to enhance solidarity among its members and promote peace and security within the Islamic community.
