Orange Sulphur
The Orange Sulphur is a butterfly species scientifically known as *Colias eurytheme*. It is commonly found in North America, particularly in open fields, meadows, and along roadsides. This butterfly is easily recognizable by its bright orange wings, which are often edged with black. The males typically have more vibrant colors compared to the females, who may display a paler yellow hue.
The Orange Sulphur primarily feeds on nectar from various flowers, including clover and milkweed. Its life cycle includes four stages: egg, larva (caterpillar), pupa (chrysalis), and adult butterfly. The caterpillars are usually green or yellow and feed on the leaves of host plants like alfalfa and clover.
