Omni Coliseum
The Omni Coliseum was a multi-purpose arena located in Atlanta, Georgia. Opened in 1972, it served as the home for several sports teams, including the Atlanta Hawks of the NBA and the Atlanta Flames of the NHL. The venue hosted a variety of events, from concerts to wrestling matches, and was known for its distinctive circular design.
The Coliseum had a seating capacity of around 16,000 for basketball games and was a popular destination for major events until it closed in 1997. It was eventually demolished in 1999 to make way for the CNN Center and other developments in downtown Atlanta.
