Omega Workshops
Omega Workshops was an influential design studio founded in 1913 by Wyndham Lewis, a British painter and writer, along with other members of the Vorticism movement. The studio aimed to create a new approach to art and design, merging fine art with functional objects. It produced a range of items, including textiles, furniture, and ceramics, characterized by bold colors and geometric patterns.
The workshops were notable for their collaboration with various artists, including Vanessa Bell and Duncan Grant, who were part of the Bloomsbury Group. Although the studio operated for only a few years, it significantly impacted the development of modern design and the integration of art into everyday life.
